ANTIQUE DOORKNOB COLLECTORS OF AMERICA 2021 ADCA Convention Albany, New York September 8-11, 2021 Open to the Public Saturday 9/11 9AM to Noon for Vaccinated Friends wearing Masks

The Antique Doorknob Collectors of America will hold our Annual Convention this year at Albany, New York, at the Hilton Albany on September 8-11, 2021. This should be an exciting opportunity for collectors and historic preservation enthusiasts to safely gather again to buy, sell and trade hardware, and share ideas & thoughts. You may make your hotel registrations on-line through Hilton at this link , or by calling 866-691-1183 (24/7) and mentioning our reservation code of 4DOOR. Our special hotel rate is $119.00 plus taxes, and the rate will be available for nights between 9/6 and 9/13 (two days before and after the convention). We have planned the convention to be as safe as possible, providing more space between our tables, and requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated and wear masks.. We plan to fully follow CDC recommendations and New York state guidelines for our activities as required by our hotel partner, which will continue to evolve between now and September. We want all members who attend to feel safe and be respectful of others, while finally being able to get back to the enjoyable experience of enjoying antique hardware. Each of us will enjoy going around to each member's table and seeing what everyone brought. On-line registration for the convention are now available below, and registration packets have been mailed to all current ADCA members in the March-April 2021 issue of The Doorknob Collector Our theme this year is "New York Hardware", so bring displays of hardware: manufactured by New Your companies like Hopkins & Dickinson Newman Guerin Clark and others made or used for New York buildings and houses like the Woolworth Guaranty Produce Exchange Plaza Hotel State Capitol , our planned tour site Olana , or many, many others. Our annual Convention is an excellent opportunity to see many fine examples of this art form, talk to experts in the field, to start or add to your collection, and to have your hardware evaluated. And you never know what members will bring to the Convention. The friends and contacts you will make during this convention become a future resource for collectors and historic renovators alike.
